A happy spring to all our members!

Firstly, I would like to introduce our newest member, Martin Gould of Scenic Plumbing Ltd. We also welcome and thank our newest associate members, Pecks Plumbing Supplies and Felton Industries Ltd. We believe that your businesses are valuable to our industry, and in saying this, we warmly welcome you to our NZPDG family.

We are always looking for opportunities to develop the talent we see in our members. A fine example was our September General Meeting which was a huge success.  Glen Burr of Wet N Wild Plumbing presented his Introductory to Backflow Prevention Course worth 8 CPD Points. There was a great turn out and as usual we had the support of a dedicated team from Dux Industries who helped cover costs for the evening. 

Since our September meeting, with the support of our associate member Reece, we have

run another Backflow Prevention Course in Silverdale. Your next opportunity to attend our Backflow Prevention Course is Thursday 29th October at 5.30pm, this will be held at Reece Manukau - unit 4/85 Cavendish Drive, Manukau City. These courses are free of charge to our members. Again, we thank our associate members who help sponsor these events.

The New Zealand Plumbers, Drainlayers & Gasfitters Association has a clear vision of our future. We are focused on building the relationships we have with our members and also growing our family by increasing memberships. Please encourage your trades people and friends by directing them to our website for an easy membership application. We are open to change and warmly invite your friends, who are in the plumbing, drainlaying and gasfitting trade, the opportunity to become part of our Association.

Our next General Meeting will be held at The Commerce Club, Remuera on Thursday 19th November. Mark Young from Reece will be introducing the Conex Banninger >B< Press. We also have guest speaker Mark Daniels who will be speaking on how to create a more profitable business. This includes areas covering sales, marketing & advertising, business development, business management, recruitment, team building and motivating team members. I look forward to seeing all our members there.
